About the Artful Auction & Seen Through Horses Support Drive:
The Artful Auction is part of our Seen Through Horses Support Drive, raising funds and awareness for Mental Health Awareness Month, supporting Red Horse Center’s effort to contribute equitable access to services for our community.
The auction includes local and regional art, artful bundles, and other experiences ranging from health and wellness retreats to winery tastings, restaurant gift cards, lodging, and more. We encourage donations for items ranging from $25 to $1,500. Donors of $500 or more will be featured in the Auction’s sponsor section. With respect to independent artists and entrepreneurs, donors may choose to retain a % of the starting bid.
Items will be on display at Red Horse’s Porch Party on May 17th
DONATING ITEMS:
Option 1: Upload your auction item:
This link: https://rhccl.betterworld.org/donate-an-item opens a form where you can enter your information directly into the auction site. Items will get categorized and approved on their way to the public site, so they will not appear immediately. We also may combine gift cards and experiences into bundles by location or category prior to publishing.
Option 2: In-person drop-off or pick-up:
If web forms aren’t your thing, you can also email ulla@redhorse.red or drop items off – whatever works for you. We ask that items being dropped off have the following information attached to them.
In either option, we request the following information:
- Donor (person or company)
- Item value and description
- Image (if possible)
Items will default to 100% donated, but let us know in the description if you’d like to retain 25% or 50% of the starting bid. In the online form, you can add extra information in the description field. In-person drop-offs should have all of this attached to the item in some way.
We are asking for items to be uploaded by Wednesday, May 7th
Bidding will open on May 9th at 9 am and close during the Porch Party at 8:00 pm.
We look forward to connecting with you soon.
